March of the Scarecrows

Now here is a project for the Zombie family!!! I wanted to post this before Halloween, but didn't have the time. Every year here in our fair little hamlet, just outside Philadelphia, the borough has a scarecrow contest. You go to the borough building where they supply the support sticks, wiring, small pumpkins for heads, and the hay. And you supply the creation of the character you want to do and the clothing or other materials. You can go as simple or elaborate as you want. The Mistress and Boy-Toy wanted to par take in this ,but we didn't really have the time to do so. We could have done a Pamela Pumpkin Anderson with big...well, you know big whats! Or we could have done a drag queen named Miss Pumpkin Pie! Or maybe a football player. Next year we are going to do this. Anywho, when completed they are placed all over the town and wired to lamp posts on the main street. Here are some of them from this year. Tootles!

  5. That would be soooo much fun!!! That is amazingly creative.... we carved up pumpkins and made our pumpkin patch in the front yard of the mermaid manor- we had to go downscale this year due to flu and the fact that I travelled and worked daily since the middle of September.

Next year- we may just have to host own mermaid scarecrow zombie build off festival
