Grande Dame of the Week

The Lady Chablis performs her outrageously funny stage show one weekend every month at Savannah's openly gay club, Club One. Her show features blatant, suggestive language, a handful of raunchiness, and it's not for you children, or those lacking a sense of humor out there. It's for those who love to laugh, and don't take life so seriously. And she is one of the nicest divas you'll encounter with all her rich and entertaining stories. Seeing the Lady Chablis is a treat. Arranging a Savannah vacation around the Club One performance schdule in order to see the Grand Dame of Savannah is worth your while honeys! And be sure to check out her new website The Lady Chablis. Tootles!

  1. She was a major scene-stealer in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Love her! I even read her memoir. It would be fun to see her show.

  3. Girl,

Ever since I read Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil, I've wanted to see The Doll live and in person. And when she co-starred in the movie, it only reinforced my desire to see one of her shows.

    XOXOXOXO

  4. Next year when I go to Savannah to hang out with my partying aunt, y'all so should meet me. I'm thinking about renting a carriage house. And my aunt has promised me some Lady Chablis, some art shows, tours of architecture, and lots of cocktails.

  7. The autobiography of drag queen/personality extraordinaire The Lady Chablis, who made her debut in John Berendt's Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and the subsequent movie thereafter, tells the world her life story.
I finished this book in 2 days, it's written as if it were narrated by the Lady herself and I couldn't put it down. I don't think I've read an autobiography so amusing since, well, ever.

  10. The Lady Chablis is of course one of the BIGGEST personalities in the South, and her little lifetime collection of anecdotes in her book is a cute two day read. If you liked her in Midnight In the Garden of Good and Evil then you'll want to know more which is exactly what this book gives you. A good time two day read. You should read it if you haven't
